I enjoy washing my face with water or putting water drops on key points of my face (forehead, cheeks, nose, chin, sometimes eyelids). Then I’ll sit and settle my body down and focus on my breathing and quieting my mind.
That was in my queue and I obviously didn’t look close enough at it when I was adding it. I would NEVER intentionally reblog something as triggering as that! I really apologize if it influenced your day/acted as a trigger. I know it was triggering for me and I only looked closely at it for a brief second.

I’m more knowledgeable about Lush and magic in general now, plus a few bombs on the original list aren’t on the shelves anymore. So I figured it’s time for me to make an updated list with a more thorough understanding of what’s in them! (Note: While sometimes I take the visual into account, these correspondences are based off the herbs inside and how they synthesize, not the design!)
Intergalactic- Purification, healing, alertness peppermint is the big player in this one, so anything you’d use peppermint for can be paired with this.
Cheer Up Buttercup- Removing emotional blockages, joy, perhaps even love, but mostly uplifting the spirit in a happy, cleansing way.
Yellow Submarine- Lust and love, enhancing beauty and insight with finding a person
Sex Bomb- Pretty straightforward: sex! Sex magic, lust, increasing attraction (with consent ofc,) feeling/appearing sexy, etc.
Twilight- Psychic awareness, relaxation, finding love, dreamwork. (The same key ingredients in this, lavender and tonka, are also in a body spray of the same name and a lotion called Sleepy, if you’re looking for other routes. Or if you just like the smell.)
Turtle- Consecration and purification, blessing a new beginning, especially if it comes at the heels of a death or other major loss. Healing and moving on from said loss.
The Experimenter- This one is more of a mixed bag. It’s strongest running theme is protection, especially through transition, but you may also have more luck using all of the different colors as a form of scrying!
Butterball- Lust, soothing, gentleness. (This bomb in particular is designed to be extra gentle on the skin, which is why I added that last correspondence.)
Big Blue- Purification, purification, purification! Also since seaweed has connections with money and material goals, this could be a good way to purify yourself/water-safe objects before a larger ritual for that!
Avobath- A mild, all-around enhancer for all types of success. (ie, it’s not amazing for any one type of spell, but can probably help you a little bit anyway. Maybe a slight leaning towards love and sex spells.) (Also, if you’ve ever walked by a Lush and enjoyed the wafting scent coming out of the doors, this is probably the smell of the store.)
Dragon’s Egg- Wealth, feeling/looking sexy, drawing what you want closer to you.
The Big Sleep- Relaxing, calming, peace, love, purification
Rocket Science- Dragon’s Egg Lite, but with the looks of Intergalactic.
Over and Over- Overall stat boost (protection, increased awareness, evil ward, calming/focus) to be used in times of crisis or necessary ass-kicking.
Green Coconut- General spell enhancer, protection, purification
Pink- Love love love! Especially of the less sexual kinds like self-love and romantic love, but all types of love are covered.
Metamorphosis- Very strong enhancer for curse-breaking, banishing, and spells of that nature!
Secret Arts- Love, but the key ingredient here is cinnamon which is a good ingredient for almost any type of spell as well! Good all-around option, plus the witchy aesthetic is a nice bonus.
Just a reminder that I really appreciate it when people make an effort to research/find things before sending me an ask. A majority of the asks I get I simply link some tumblr searches and tags that lead people to dozens of resources. It’s not my job to search through those tags for you and I frankly don’t have the energy to do it. When I do link tags, it’s not to be passive aggressive, it’s just to give you the resources I would use.
I’ve also gotten so many asks that are phrased perfectly for a google search, and while don’t (usually) simply copy and paste your words into a google search and link that – it is tempting! I’m a person, not a search engine. Google first, then ask people ❤
