This gorgeous cluster is Smokey Quartz from Brazil!
Smokey quartz comes with some incredible healing properties! It is by far one of my absolute favorite stones. Aside from it’s beautiful, deep grey-brown shimmer, it is also known for it’s many healing properties.
Smokey quartz is known for it’s abilities as a protection stone. It has an unbelievable ability to ground the wearer and dispel negative energy.
One of my all-time favorites for banishing negativity and poisonous energy.
It’s great for use during meditation, as it helps ground your spirit and helps you reach a higher state of consciousness. It also is known as the “endurance stone.” If you’re suffering from physical or emotional fatigue, this is the stone for you. It also brings prosperity by grounding your goals and wishes.
This particular piece is waiting for its new home here.
for the record, ‘not feeling anything’ is a valid and not unusual response to trauma or grief
so if you feel empty and devoid of feeling, it’s not because you’re a cold and uncaring person.
Sometimes, not feeling anything is the only way you can cope.
Be prepared for a delayed reaction, too. It’s very common to be totally calm during a crisis, and then days or weeks (or years) later suddenly get hit with a tidal wave of “HOLY SHIT THAT HAPPENED.”
Sometimes your mind waits until it feels safe to start processing things emotionally. It’s a powerful survival strategy, but it can really blindside you, because just as you start to feel like things are okay, you’re overwhelmed by the realization of how not-okay things were before.
This may not happen, and that’s okay too. But it’s something to watch out for when your initial reaction is numbness.
I feel like.. I’ve seen an influx on my dash about this so I kinda want to comment on it.
A lot of people talk about having falling out of routine of worship, wondering if the gods they had relationships with will want to even be with them after a bit of time of not worshiping (whether it be for weeks or months or whatever).
Honestly, I just want to say, I had a fallow period of not worshiping for literal years. Now, I’m back to worshiping regularly and I still feel the presence of the deities I worship in my life. After years.
I was stuck in a fit of cycling of mental illness and in the thorough of something mildly traumatic happening. I was pushed to take a break and I did. For almost 3 years. And my gods were still there, after all that time. And welcomed me with open arms when I and they felt I was ready again.
They understand. They know your intentions. I know I can’t speak for any situation besides my own, but life happens. It’s okay. It’ll be okay.
