Just a reminder that when I share posts, I am VERY rarely asked to do so and I choose to do it.
I’ve gotten over 10 asks and messages today from people requesting I promo their blog or reblog their post.
So this is your friendly reminder that I am not a bulletin board and if we’ve never had a conversation besides you asking me to promote you/your stuff, it doesn’t feel great to me.
If you are seeing this and have done this, I don’t have the energy to respond but you were polite about it – I’m just tired of this sort of thing and have started blocking people who are blatantly trying to use me for my followers. (So don’t feel bad because you treated me like a person while doing it 💕)

I only hope at any point in my life I’m even a tiny bit like this. Enough to stand strong and defend those who need it or hold and nurture them against a hard world. Even if only once. Then, I will feel as if I have had meaning to my life.
