This can be used for anyone or yourself! If you want to use it for someone else, put a taglock in the jar at any time you see fit!
Things you will need:
– a jar and poke-able lid
– something to poke holes in the jar lid with (please be safe!)
– an area to burn things if you are able to/want to use fire in this spell
– herbs you feel drawn to for this spell and also rosemary, ground up black pepper, ground up cayenne pepper, cumin, dill, fennel, and SMALL bits of garlic. Itās totally okay if you donāt have all of these or donāt want to use some!
– salt & lime (or lemon) juice
– blueberries (for eating!)
– a blue candle
Step one: Sprinkle the herbs in whatever order you want to inside of the jar, be sure not to use too much as weāll be putting the candle in there later! Imagine what you want each herb to do specifically for this spell. (Ex: black pepper protects against negativity, evil, and jealousy while fennel is good for curses and general problems)
Step two: add a light layer of salt, however you feel is necessary. (Focus on how salt is used for protection against everything, put your own personal intent into the salt)
Step three: Add 3 (or however much you feel you need) drops of lime onto the salt. (Focus on how lime protects against the evil eye, hexes, and ill health)
Step four: Be careful for this step! Light the blue candle and set it safely into the jar of herbs. Make sure it is standing up right!
Step five: While the candle burns for a while, poke holes in the top of the jar lid so the fire can ābreathe.ā
Step six: Put the lid on the jar and let the candle burn until you feel it can stop. Iād recommend not burning the entire candle as it looks more aesthetically pleasing. Once the candle is burned enough, smother the flame! While the wax drips down, imagine that wax sealing the spell together.
Note: Interchage, add, or leave out steps, ingredients, etc if you feel you should! Your craft is your own!
a reminder from your science witch sister that itās flu season, and haunting graveyards at midnight or walking barefoot in dark forests becomes much less romantic when you are ill, so go and take your vaccines and do your part to ensure herd immunity for the sick, the elderly and the young.
(2/2) The possibilities for customizing this action seem endless! Positions of holes, hand(s) used, material used to cover holes, how to handle the paper scraps, and how to symbolically incorporate them into the workās literal/symbolic design. My puncher would be difficult to use for people with hand strength issues, but 3-hole versions allow you to simply rest your arm on the top, meaning no squeezing. Let me know if someone has already thought of/expanded on this idea, haha. Be well āØ
This ask is really cool but I havenāt had the brain power to think it through and itās been sitting in my inbox for far too long, so Iām posting it to see what others thing!
(Had to make a new version because tumblr messed with the gif on the original and wonāt let me edit my own postsā¦)
