I tried looking up uses for hydrangeas, and I got some answers about curse protection/hex breaking and love spells/bindings, but I couldn’t find information on if the color of hydrangeas changed their uses/meanings? On one website, it said that white hydrangeas were for moon work, but I have green, blue, and purple flowers and none of the other several websites I looked at mentioned anything about color. Oooh great question! I’m really not sure, I’ve never been around hydrangeas or have used them in my craft. When in doubt, color correspondences may be helpful 🙂

This might sound dumb, but how do food offerings work? Is it like a grace where you eat on behalf of the goddess or is it like leaving cookies out for Santa?

It can work a couple of different ways:

Placing a dish of the food on an altar/at a place on your table
Leaving the first bite as an offering
Eating the first bite as an offering
Eating the entire thing as an offering
