Just a chronically ill witch who lives in the Cascade foothills of WA.
Drawing of a red panda saying “You don’t have to be perfect and your productivity doesn’t have to be either.” in a pink speech bubble.
Drawing of an orange fox saying “You will succeed, but you don’t need to succeed to prove that you’re good and important. You are proof enough. You are enough.” in a pink speech bubble.
I’m more than halfway to my next goal on patreon. When I hit 300$, I’ll start posting longer comics on Saturdays. If that’s a thing that interests you, you can pledge for just 1$ here and in return, you get to suggest your favorite creatures to be turned into positive doodles.
Me: “Please put effort into research, and I’ll help you out once you’ve tried and need some extra guidance or clarification!”
Witchblr: “gAsp! You uppity witch” (to quote the tag)
Anyways here’s the original post [X], here’s the more eloquently worded version [X] and I stand by what I was saying. Learning requires research, and it’s not my job to do ALL of it for you, but I love helping out! Especially since witchcraft is a very fluid and individual thing, what I think are the best resources may not be the best ones for you so it’s important to explore!
And those of you who actually follow me know that I frequently tag resources for people to use in their research and create posts if enough people have the same questions 🙂 And I love getting asks, don’t let this deter you!
So for those who don’t know I’m a beginning artist and this is some of my work! I was inspired by kasey golden’s #500drawingprompts and I’m using prompts from a book to create a drawing! This helps me a lot with art block and stops me being so critical when I can just draw whatever I want without putting pressure on myself. I might start posting more of these here
These are really wonderful pieces and I’d love to see more of your work on Tumblr in the future if you feel called/passionate to share it!! 💕
Honestly the Da Vinci Code soundtrack is stunning and I want to listen to it while I wander around a museum in an awed daze.
I picture myself with a messy bun, a loose cardigan, red lipstick, black combat boots and the air that I’m both wise beyond my years, wholeheartedly belonging in this museum and that I am fully moved by what I’m seeing.
