Thank you so much! This spring I slammed one of my fingers (pointer on my dominant hand) in my car door and the nail fell out. It took 6 months to grow back and I have a deeper sense of appreciation for how lucky I am to have helpful and strong nails!

its really comforting to know that all the times i was at my lowest and loneliest in the past the whole time i had my self in the future and present who had survived those things looking back with love and tenderness and wishing desperately to offer comfort…i am my own guardian angel and i can use that knowledge when im struggling now and remember that somewhere there is a version of me that has survived this and is watching me with love and pride and joy in her heart
I was checking out at Walmart, and as I was reaching for my bags I said, “Happy Holidays!”
And the cashier leaned in like she was sharing a secret and said “Merry Christmas.”
So I smiled politely and said, “Blessed Yule!”
And the look that spread across her face, you would have thought I’d literally stolen Christmas from her.If you’re going to make a point of wishing me a happy whatever-you-celebrate, I’m going to make a point of wishing you a happy whatever-I-celebrate, and if you think that’s wrong you should consider getting “hypocrite” tattooed across your forehead.
