honeyedteeth:

I feel like.. I’ve seen an influx on my dash about this so I kinda want to comment on it.

A lot of people talk about having falling out of routine of worship, wondering if the gods they had relationships with will want to even be with them after a bit of time of not worshiping (whether it be for weeks or months or whatever).

Honestly, I just want to say, I had a fallow period of not worshiping for literal years. Now, I’m back to worshiping regularly and I still feel the presence of the deities I worship in my life. After years

I was stuck in a fit of cycling of mental illness and in the thorough of something mildly traumatic happening. I was pushed to take a break and I did. For almost 3 years. And my gods were still there, after all that time. And welcomed me with open arms when I and they felt I was ready again.

They understand. They know your intentions. I know I can’t speak for any situation besides my own, but life happens. It’s okay. It’ll be okay.

here’s my take on himalayan pink salt: it tends to be listed  as associated with love and friendship and positivity because it’s pink, but do you know why it is pink? because of the high iron content in it. iron, as in blood and rusted swords. think of it: blood salts. warding against fae tricksters, perhaps a blood substitute for some workings, an ingredient for binding oaths and for curses, a powerful but personal protector. strength, revenge, rawness. nothing wrong with the original associations, just a thought. i personally wouldn’t consider it as strong a purifier/energetic cleanser due to iron technically being an impurity.

Gender Magic

I noticed that there were only small pockets of posts on helping ease dysphoria or helping you feel more at home with your gender/identity so I decided to compile what I could here!

TERFS are not welcome to interact with this post. But, I always seize the opportunity to block gross people!

Romain Recall- ALL of it

Hey heads up right now (11/20) the CDC says that NO store bought romaine in the country is safe. Not a mouthful. Not whole, not chopped, not salad mixes, not from certain states… absolutely all of it should be tossed.

32 in the states have been sickened, 13 are hospitalized. 18 known cases in Canada right now, too.

While in this case it’s not worth it to risk it, take a moment to read up on the correct way to wash fresh greens.

hi!! i want to start by saying i absolutely love your blog and you inspired me to take my first steps into the withcy life with your bedridden witch series!! my best friend is turning 20 and i have no idea what i should get her- i’m a closet witch so i don’t want anything too crazy but i also don’t want to be a mindless consumer and spend a bunch of money on something generic from a store. i want a meaningul gift for a best friend of many years- maybe you hv any suggestions to help me out hehe??

Aww thank you so much, that really means a lot!

What I tend to give my friends: A heartfelt letter, a crystal with correspondences that relate to what they’re going through in life, something regifted that I have a strong connection to but think it should be with them now (jewelry, a book, plants, etc.), and I like to find cute pots/mugs from thrift shops and put a lil plant in there or a collection of tea bags or something like that.

I hope those at least gave you some ideas! ❤
