(2/2) The possibilities for customizing this action seem endless! Positions of holes, hand(s) used, material used to cover holes, how to handle the paper scraps, and how to symbolically incorporate them into the work’s literal/symbolic design. My puncher would be difficult to use for people with hand strength issues, but 3-hole versions allow you to simply rest your arm on the top, meaning no squeezing. Let me know if someone has already thought of/expanded on this idea, haha. Be well ✨
This ask is really cool but I haven’t had the brain power to think it through and it’s been sitting in my inbox for far too long, so I’m posting it to see what others thing!
(Had to make a new version because tumblr messed with the gif on the original and won’t let me edit my own posts…)
As a spoonie witch, using magic to help regain my mental and physical energy has been extremely helpful. I decided to compile some resources to make life easier!
I’m a big fan of clear communication (perhaps a little nicer than my suggestion above) and if that doesn’t work, getting some locks and casting some protection spells/secret guarding spells.
I know we talk a lot about how witches are wise and in tune with their intuition and all that but witchcraft does seriously not protect you from being a complete and utter dumbass idiot. Educate yourself. Just cause you started meditating naked with crystals under the moon it does not mean you know everything now. The un-wisest thing you could ever do is think that just cause you feel enlightened now your enlightenment is done enlightening you. Got it? You’re doing great, but there’s always more to learn. 🌼
probably my favorite thing about witchcraft is how diy it is. like, I used to be catholic and it was like “this has power because it was anointed by a priest” and witchcraft is like “fuck that. anoint it yourself. you have all the power of the universe in your little hands” and I love it.
