It’s not up to me to gatekeep the spoon theory/being a spoonie! As long as you aren’t both neurotypical and abled, it can apply to you if it is helpful to you ❤

hello! sorry to bother you but I just needed some insight and I haven’t found any answer on the internet. a few days ago there was a heavy rainfall so I thought it’d be good if I meditated naked under the rain and immediately after I felt cleansed, but lately I’ve felt extremely tired (even though i’ve had healthy amounts of sleep) and I wonder if I did something wrong or if this is part of the process. What do you think?
It’s pretty common to be drained after things like that ❤
You can try grounding and using the energy of other objects (like crystals) instead of all of your energy to help avoid that a bit!
Hello, I have a question and I understand if you don’t feel comfortable answering it but it’s been something that’s been bugging me. How do you define chronically ill? I’ve been struggling with a sickness for years that has left me barely able to eat and constantly feeling sick and no doctor has been able to diagnose me. Would this be considered chronically ill? I don’t want to call it something it’s not.
Well, let’s examine the definition of chronically ill, shall we? 🙂
“A chronic condition is a human health condition or disease that is persistent or otherwise long-lasting in its effects or a disease that comes with time. The term chronic is often applied when the course of the disease lasts for more than three months.” [X]
I went undiagnosed for YEARS. Doctors didn’t believe me, my family didn’t believe me, my friends didn’t believe me. I was told it was in my head or had half-ass diagnoses slapped on me until we did the right test and discovered something (an infection) that was about to kill me. It took us two more years to figure out why I had that infection and many others. I got officially diagnosed a couple of months ago because we finally had the right circumstances to test for it. But I’ve considered myself chronically ill for most of that time, once I was forced out of my bubble and found out what chronic illness was. You are very much not alone in this ❤
The chronically ill community is VERY OPEN, especially to undiagnosed folks. A lot of people within the community do not have a diagnosis, or at least one that they agree with. I’d say what you’re dealing with definitely sounds like a chronic illness to me, and there’s nothing wrong with calling yourself chronically ill. ❤
Witch mom!! (Can i actually call you that?) I see some posts talking about making a playlist or listening to music that you relate to your craft, and I wanted to ask if you have one, and if you have recommendations? I want something to start with and build on 💕 Thanks for your time!
You definitely can call me that! Oh hell yeah, music is a great way to connect to the craft. Everything links to YouTube!

- Locked within the Crystal Ball
- Honestly here’s just a playlist of her music a lot of it has witchy vibes

is it dumb of me to ask what makes someone a witch?
Not at all! I hope you all know that when I see an ask that starts with “is it dumb if-” or “I feel silly but-” I get a really strong feeling of “this is definitely not dumb or silly and I will help this person feel more at ease”. Every time. I don’t even read the rest of the ask before I get that feeling ❤️
You become a witch when you decide to be a witch. Things like gender, body stuff, sexuality, etc. don’t affect that. Obviously there’s also the side of practicing witchcraft, but most of us don’t do it everyday! I’m still a witch even if I haven’t practiced in a while ❤️
Um, hello! Recently, whenever I research about witchcraft or anything close, the word ‘familiar’ pops up quite a lot. I just wanted to ask if it was an actual thing, and if so, how to get one?
It is an actual thing, but I do not have a familiar (although that might soon change) so I’m not the best witch to ask! I simply lack the experience in this area 💕 Wondering if any of my followers would mind commenting? (On this post pls!)
How long have you been on this blog? Also congrats for the 20 k followers 💕💕
I started it February, 2017 🙂 Thank you!
Hi there. I have a weird question? I was wondering if there’s a way to cast spells without using a lot of materials. I just used some roses for a spell and it made me really sad to pull off the petals, though I knew I needed to do that. Is there anyway I can get around that or will I just grow to accept and understand that that’s part of the spell? Thanks for your help, I’m a beginner witch trying to learn more!
Hello my dear! It certainly is possible to cast spells with no or minimal materials, but it does depend on the spell. Some spells require no ingredients, but if the ingredients tie deeply into the action/core of the spell, then you need it. It really depends on each situation, trust your gut!
Okay so i’m sorry if i’m bothering you, but! Im very new at this •_• i don’t know what i’m doing, and my mother won’t even let me get anything that looks remotely “witchy”. I just wanted to ask if you have any advice for people my age (teen, still in school (rip,)) or with the same scenario, or any reference materials that we could start with. Thanks in advance!
Hello my dear, you’re no bother at all! For years I was sort of in the same boat, I had to be discreet with my practice. Luckily for me I was always an outdoorsy kid and I took a pretty early interest in wild plant medicines and using tea for herbal remedies, so I already had walls of jars filled with dried plants I had harvested and herbs for teas. I also had an obsession with old maps, old (and new) bottles, old books and pretty rocks. Not crystals, I just really liked rocks. Is anyone surprised I turned out to be a witch? I’m sure not. I still have a lot of my old supplies and I still have a passion for all of those things, which is very convenient now!
So my biggest piece of advice for you is to find a way to connect your current passions to your craft. You can also start expressing interest in things that are both witchy and mundane (but can be tied to the craft.):
- Get really into flower pressing, or rock collecting. Start learning about your local plants.
- Candles too suspicious? Get a wax melter! Say you want it for the smell.
- A box of herbal teas can hold a lot of spell ingredients!
- Learn about color correspondences and magic, use this in your wardrobe and decorating choices!
- If you can, grow a kitchen herb garden. My mom got very excited when I asked to grow sage, thyme and rosemary at the kitchen window.
- Shower and bath magic doesn’t have to involve herbs, and if you feel you’d like to incorporate some, it’s a great chance to use some of your teabags. Low mess, discreet, herbs.
- Draw sigils in discreet places.
- Check out kitchen magic/witchcraft! Make your food magical.
- You can get a lot of different crystal beads for crafting.
- Know that quartz can replace any crystal and rosemary can substitute for any herb if need be.
- #discreet witchcraft is an excellent tag filled with excellent advice!

- Know that your power comes from YOU! I practiced for years with minimal supplies and it worked out great. I feel it makes you a more powerful witch, because you learn your craft without being able to rely on the power of ingredients, and when you finally get to the point that you can, you don’t take it for granted. Additionally, most tools can be acquired from mundane places, they don’t have to be sold as witchcraft tools.

Hey! Congrats on your incredible number of followers and I hope many more will come to you! I have one question. I will move soon and I never did that, are there any spells or rituals to clean a new home from whatever was left behind by the ones who were before me? Thank you so much for your help!
Thank you so much! And I have a post for that, actually!
