Hi! I’m a Baby Witch who follows Hestia and I love her but I don’t quite know how to give her offerings, especially through food. Could you offer any advice?

Yeah! With food I’ll often offer the first bite, eat the first bite and savor it, set aside a small plate or burn it (I have a wood burning stove so I can do this safely). Also, I wrote this on my Hestia sideblog and think it will be helpful!

sorry I keep sending you asks LOL have you seen Mary & the Witches Flower? (it just got to netflix so if you haven’t i deffff recommend) it’s not ghibli but i think it may be the same artist? the animation looks similar & it has that ghibli aesthetic to it, and it’s such a great story. i saw it in theater like three times 😂😂

Do, I’ve been following Hades for a whule now, and all of my other friends say that I chose the wrong deity. I’ve felt very strongly towards Him for a long time, and their only reasoning is that He’s not a real God of Olympus (because He doesn’t live there) and He’s an “evil god.” Is there anything I could say to justify Him? I have no ideas and they’re beating me to death about it.

Tell your friends to fuck off? It’s none of their damn business, and it’s extremely rude of them to act like that. 

Some things they should consider:

So only the Olympians are valid gods? Is every Chthonian deity inherently evil? What about the Titans, who came before the Olympians? The Nymphs don’t live on Olympus, they’re only summoned there occasionally. What about them? Do they deserve less respect? What makes Hades more evil than any of the Olympians? 

I’d encourage them to browse through this site so they can realize that there’s far more to the Theoi than the Olympians. 

I know that some people are talking about leaving tumblr completly because of the updat. Are you staying? Is this website really made up of that many porn blogs???

I’m staying! I’m in the process of getting a WordPress in case the update completely fucks me over, but I don’t plan on leaving. 

My plan for WordPress is to keep it 100% original informative content and post it both here and there. I’m in the process of transferring my favorite original posts there. If y’all still want snippets of my personal life, you’ll likely see more of that on Insta.
