Especially helpful for discreet and low energy witches!
I really like using sigils to boost my drinks, especially when I make infusions! I typically use a glass or glass jar, and a dry-erase pen, that way I can wipe off the sigil when I’m done!
For everyone with mental and physical stuff that they have to take medication for! I’m both mentally and chronically ill and take a LOT of meds each day. There’s so much negativity about magic and meds, so let’s find a way to incorporate both into your life! ❤
Pill bottles:
Charge the bottles (while empty), the bowl you place your dose in, or your pill organizer in the sun or moon
Decorate them to look more witchy! Don’t cover up important labels. [X]
Draw sigils on the bottom to help minimize side effects and so you don’t forget a dose!
Use empty bottles for anything witchy (spell bottles, herb storage, etc.) [X]
Place crystals or herbs around/on the bottle
Use color correspondences – doodle on the lid or bottom
Meds:
Keep in cool pill boxes
Whisper an enchantment or blessing over them for desired effects (easy to swallow, less side effects, doing their job, etc.)
Think or say an affirmation with each one (I say so many affirmations a day!)
Take with (drinking safe) moon water or infused water.
Also use a cool cup, could be decorated, covered in sigils, using color correspondences, and more!
Coat your pills with honey before taking them to sweeten up your life
IV treatments and injections (no needle mentions):
Listen to witchy music
Draw healing/soothing sigils
Keep crystals in your pocket or bag
Bring infused water with you (if using herbs, check for interactions)
Bring a spell bottle/sachet to your treatment for good vibes, quick healing, minimal pain, and the like.
If you have leftover wax bits from old candles, save them, especially if they’re of various colors! If you later burn a white candle, you can throw in some blue wax or green wax for a little color boost!
If you don’t have green, mix yellow & blue! To make a light purple, mix red (or pink) & blue. Keep in mind that the colors will get a lot lighter. So red wax for example will turn into pink; orange wax may look more yellow.
Save your orange peels! After eating, you can wash the peel, let it dry for about a week or so, and then store the peel in a jar (helpful tip: break up the peel into bits, it’s just a little easier that way).
The orange peel bits can be used in spells for happiness, energy, and prosperity! It’s also useful for teas. 🍊🍊🍊
Can someone explain how you burn an herb?
If something calls for mugwort, how do I burn it? Do I need it to be in oil form?
Let me tell you the best damn way to burn small amounts of herbs for a ritual.
A metal tea strainer just like the one above.
Put just a pinch of herbs inside. Hold the mesh over a candle for several moments. You will be able to see the herbs begin to burn. If you just need a little smoke, they will smoke immediately and go out quickly when removed from the flame.
If you need a lot of smoke, let the herbs turn in to embers (they will not really catch fire). In this form you can carry the tea strainer all around a room to smoke it out, or place it on a fire-safe surface such as a baking dish or pan so it can smolder safely.
Really only use a small amount of dried herbs!
When experimenting with burning herbs, I advise you to open a window. Rooms can get smokey really quickly and it isn’t mystical, it’s uncomfortable. Also try not to set off any smoke alarms.
Part water, part vinegar, and an optional part of lemon juice
Put the mixture into the pot or pan with a stain and let it sit on the stove for about 15 minutes before turning it on to a low heat. Let it warm up before taking the pot or pan off the heat. Scrub the bottom and voila… No longer stained. I’ve done this with several pieces of my cookware and the best part is that this is a natural cleaner.
