Spring Time Sun

A spell to make the sun shine and the weather warm and finally bring about spring!

Ingredients:

• Candle (warm colour preferred but any works!)
• Heater or something similar
• Cinnamon: warmth, dry times
• Thyme: achievement and success, brightness, optimism
• Bay leaves: wishes
• Red Pepper: warmth, perseverance of the spell
• Citrine: warmth, energy
• Emerald: brightness, bliss
• Sun Stone: sunshine, warmth, relaxation
• Red Jasper: perseverance of the spell
• Tiger’s Eye: sunshine, warmth

Optional:

• Pendulum (for whistling up a wind, it’s suggested you do research here before trying in this spell)
• Solar Water
• Ribbon and/or solar charm to wrap around the candle
• Tinted Red Lights
• Orange Incense
• Warm Sounding Music
• Some Suggestions: x, x, x, x, x

Steps:

• Warm your space, don’t wear heavy clothing, but feel warm there
• Write your intentions or draw a sun on a bay leaf
• Draw sigil 1 (below cut) on another bay leaf or underneath where the candle will be placed
• Optional: Draw the sigils 2-4 around where the candle will be placed
• Placed cleansed stones around the candle
• Practice Fire Safety!!!!!!!!!
• please remember to remove the optional ribbon before the candle reaches it
• Light the Candle
• Carefully burn the herbs
• As you burn the picture and feel the weather you want (hence why a warm room helps)
• Optional: ask any guide, deity, or other spirit for assistance as you see fit
• Optional: whistle up a wind for warm, clear skies with the pendulum, being careful of the flame
• When the spell is done you can do three things:

1. Let the candle burn to nothing and clean up after
2. Put out the candle with the solar water when you feel it’s completed
3. Put out the fire in another safe way when you feel the spell is done

• Clean your space and thank those you asked for assistance as you see fit.
